The Global Shared Services Center in Pune is to support the following functions in global operations from India. The following talent and teams were recruited for the project.

Private Limited as 100% Subsidiary. Founded by two Indian Directors and later infused FDI from a principal and acquired under 100% Automatic route.

Our Engagement

Part 1 – Offshore Destination (Location) Study and Pilot Talent Search.

Part 2 – End-to-end consulting and Set-up of a Global Center under the Special Economic Zone.

Execution remarks

Executed the project in a 6 Module Framework successfully, including.

  • Legal Approvals – Special Economic Zone Setup approvals with Import management. All tax and incentives setup and Management in the setup phase.
  • Talent search and selection – 100+ FTEs across various senior, middle and junior roles and the Management team in India.
  • Workspace Infrastructure – Setup of 10000 sq. ft. of captive facility with power backup, fire & safety, access control, cafeteria, and training setup.
  • Setup of IT Infrastructure – server farms, communications and computing infrastructure
  • Set up of processes, including billing to parent company, transfer pricing, HR policy, Travel policy, etc.
  • Set up Governance.

Achievement

Completed setup and made center operational in 6 Months. Total Engagement 12 Months.
